When a particularly discerning customer walked in sporting an amazing bronze ring I immediately inquired who it was. Turns out it was from Milanese designer Monica Castiglioni and I was headed to Milan for a shoe buying trip the very next week. Kismet! We are all completely wowed by these heavy duty solid bronze pieces (and some silver) that speak to modernity and certain primitiveness at the same time. Hi folks, Nealy here, guest blogger. I am so excited to bring the Lebanese jewelry collection Rosa Maria to A Mano! I have been obsessed with this work for a few years now and on a recent buying trip to Paris I finally got to connect with the artist! I find in Designer Rosy Aborous' work some truly unusual combinations of influences that I just haven't found anywhere. Some pieces elude to bold ethnic jewelry, others clean modern, even industrial design and still others fine filagree work. All manage to come off as totally authentic, a little badass and sophisticated. She works in yellow and rose gold, diamonds and semi precious stones and silver. I am so happy to share them with all of you!
