Visit to Milan

I Have to say that one of my favorite things about the shop is the bi-annual buying trips to Milan. An obsession with fashion is everywhere -from the billboards to the impossibly glamorous people on bikes. I found myself on longs walks just window shopping with an ever-present gelato in hand, happy as a clam. The fur purse is probably the most decadent thing I saw along with many beautiful (and fancy fancy) clothing shops for children. Had to share.

New Belgian Line Elsa Arrived

We are super excited to get our first shipment from Elsa. On our last visit to Milan we were super impressed with this new line that is our dream mix of originality and real deal craftsmanship. Check it out on our website! Here is a little more background:

The label is a collaboration between Els Proost, Belgian ex-shoe and accessories designer for Dries Van Noten, Emporio Armani, Maison Martin Margiela - and Angelo Penazzato, Italian ex-shoe producer for several famous labels such as Costume National, Hussein Chalayan, Angelo Figus and many more.The northern creativity with the southern know-how and input makes a good match which shows in the collections.

Craftsmanship and comfort are major points but then in combination with a fashionable amusing twist.

Also heads up Loeffler Randall, and Antipast socks fans we just got in our first shipments. More new goodies on the way late August early September.
